HISTORY OF RENEGADE
The birth of the Renegade Sound System began back in 1996 when, a very talented Kendall Halls (Phat Rat) began playing music and using two beat up belt driven turntables and a turn fader mixer for sound system equipment. His high school partner Tony (Mumra), also had a keen taste in music and started practicing at Kendall's home. This caused the two to merge forces with Mumra as the initial DJ and Phat Rat as the Mic. Man.

In 1998, Renegade underwent a massive promotional spurt, playing in a lot of house parties in the Pine Hills area and other gigs at the club we all loved This Is It. But it was after Renegade clashed their rival sound Shock Dem. It was their first clash and man did they kill the Shock Dem Crew.

Renegade's fan base grew tremendously that they formed a crew called...W.M.C. (Wicked Man Crew) After the clash nuff youth wanted to join Renegade. Foecus and Destruction were just part of the W.M.C. but steped up to the plate and joined Renegade.

This opened the door for the young DJ crew who by now had gained some well earned respect and a name in the Orlando area. They became well known for their juggling skills and creativity. They have been said to be one of the best young sounds in Orlando.

Since then the Renegade Sound System has been heard in bashments all over the world. Being that all the members joined the military Renegade has been able to spread the vibes of reggae music from Orlando to Okinawa, Japan.
